IMSU Final Year Student Shot Dead by Cultists.
Some suspected cult members have reported killed a final year student of the Imo State University, O’brien Ibekwe.
Ibekwe was said to be a graduating law student doing his final
clearance when he was shot dead at the varsity gate around 2pm on
Tuesday. His corpse was reportedly dumped in a gutter. See Exclusive

It
was learnt that the management of the school invited the police, who
removed the corpse and deposited it in a mortuary. Meanwhile, some
friends of the victim, who flooded his Facebook wall with comments,
described the death as painful. Here are some comments from the deceased

“IMSU is a calm school. I know because I graduated from there. But those Owerri/Orji/Nekede boys are brutal; they gang up and they never forgive. Their slang is, ‘If u price, you must pay.’ RIP, you are gone. But, at least, someone should learn something from this pain.”

When
contacted, The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Enwerem,
confirmed the incident, saying that investigations were ongoing.
He said,
“Yes, it is true that a student of IMSU was killed and we are already investigating the case. No suspect has been arrested.”
